In companies, a great deal of information about work processes is already available, for example in work descriptions, process documentation, or other text-based data. The challenge is: How can this information be turned into a reliable time value for planning?

This is exactly where AI-supported time determination from process descriptions comes in. AI interprets the information provided and derives a structured process proposal from it. This remains visible and transparent to the user, making it possible to see which process steps were interpreted and which assumptions were made. A pure video measurement only provides the observed actual time. For a reliable time determination that can serve as a basis for planning, costing, or process optimization, more is required. If the process is technically plausible, a suitable MTM-UAS® analysis is created on this basis and the corresponding time is determined. In this way, a textual description is transformed into a transparent and methodologically validated time basis for planning and further decision-making.
