We are pleased to cordially invite you to our conference “Moving to the Future 4.0 – Concepts and Technologies for the Transformation of the Mexican Industrial Sector” organized by the E-Mas consortium, formed by the Institute for Industrial Management at RWTH Aachen University (FIR), the MTM ASSOCIATION, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Government of the State of Jalisco and the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, in cooperation with the WBA Aachener Werkzeugbau Akademie, the Lean Enterprise Institute, the German–Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAMEXA), Ditrats, PEM Motion and KIT Hub.

The second international E-Mas conference will address important topics on the transition to Industrie 4.0, as well as concepts and technologies necessary for this transformation in the Mexican industrial sector.

During the two days of the conference there will be keynotes, contributions and workshops that will enrich the participants with knowledge about the future 4.0 seen from a technological, organizational and human perspective.

Current trends will be presented, among them electromobility and soft skills, such as leadership and the development of the necessary competencies for the transformation to Industrie 4.0, as well as new concepts and ideas that mark the current conversation, such as circular economy and subscription models in manufacturing. Furthermore, the discussion panels will provide the different visions and key aspects of Industrie 4.0.
