Research and teaching at German-speaking universities and colleges belong inseparably together. The members of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Arbeits- und Betriebsorganisation (WGAB) e. V. (Scientific Society for Work and Business Organization), founded in the 1980s as the Hochschulgruppe Arbeits- und Betriebsorganisation HAB (University Group for Work and Business Organization), have also made it their task to exchange research results and fields of development and to ensure that the results are promptly transferred to engineering and business science teaching.
In the context of the WGAB research seminar "Human-Technology Interaction in the Digitalized Working World" on September 18th and 19th, 2020 at the BIBA in Bremen, Prof. Dr. Peter Kuhlang, Managing Director of the Deutsche MTM-Gesellschaft mbH and Head of the MTM Institute, was accepted as a new member. In his lecture on "Derivation of MTM-HWD analyses from digital human motion data" and the subsequent scientific discourse, the focus was on the importance of the MTM standard and the seal of approval "Approved by MTM" in the design of human work. "I am pleased to be able to make my contribution to the promotion of scientific work from the perspective of the MTM ASSOCIATION e. V. in the context of a lively and frank exchange of ideas," Kuhlang said.
